Severn Trent seeks innovative solutions for Zero Spills through technologies like AI, rainwater harvesting, treatment enhancement, and smart storage in the Wavemakers International Competition.
Wavemakers International Competition. Severn Trent understands that in order to meet the requirement of Zero Spills in a practical and achievable way, that a combination of technologies and techniques are needed to establish a viable solution. At the request for proposal stage suppliers will be required to submit proposals in line with the one or all of the four categories outlined below. • Support optimisation - particularly (but not limited to) AI and Smart Control across both the waste network and waste treatment • Enable separation - through but not limited to rainwater harvesting, separation of surface water and reuse options. • Provide treatment enhancement or upstream/network treatment • Create smart storage solutions and including temporary and intelligent sewer flushing solutions Network optimisation Support optimisation - particularly (but not limited to) AI and Smart Control across both the waste network and waste treatment. Enable separation Enable separation - through but not limited to rainwater harvesting, separation of surface water and reuse options. Treatment enhancement or upstream/network treatment Treatment enhancement or upstream/network treatment. Creating de-centralised treatment options Applied learning from Nature Based Solution trials, "Plug and Play" trials and global best practice. Create smart storage solutions Managing storm load by using AI enabled temporary and permanent storage and sustainable drainage system solutions.
