Subject matter of the contract and description of the procurement
The procurement includes mobile X-ray equipment for bedside examinations for hospitals in the Stockholm and Gotland regions. The equipment is intended to be used for bedside examinations of both adult patients and neonatal babies in incubators.
X-ray examinations with the equipment will be performed on patients who are seriously ill, disabled, under intensive care and requiring anesthesia who cannot be transferred to the X-ray department.
The procurement also includes spare parts, accessories, consumption, service & support agreements and delivery agreements for the call-off units. This procurement also seeks long-term supplier and product responsibility during the equipment's lifetime.
The intended clinical area requires clinically proven products and goods at the "high end" level.
The procurement refers to a framework agreement for (MTU) Mobile X-ray equipment, as described in the Procurement Documentation for successive call-offs during the contract period. Taking into account extensive functional requirements and high patient needs, quoted systems should only cover the most recently launched products with at least 5 deliveries/agreements in the last 6 months within the EU.
All necessary accessories for the specified functions shall be included in the specified tender.
If additional equipment related to the required MTU (unique to the supplier) is required, the tenderer shall include/specify this in its tender.
The procurement includes complete unit prices according to requirements, conditions and intended use specified in the procurement documentation.
Region Stockholm and the call-off units also reserve the right to carry out additional and supplementary purchases as referred to in Chapter 17, Section 11 of the Swedish Public Health Act. The tender evaluation only covers the information requested in the advertised procurement documents.
