Sida needs to complement its internal expertise on human security and humanitarian assistance with a team of external advisors in order to:

— ensure an integrated conflict perspective, full adherence to the sub-goal 5 (Human Security and freedom from violence) in the Swedish Aid Policy Framework and implementation of the strategy on Human Security,

— ensure full adherence to sub-goal 6 (saving lives, alleviating suffering and maintaining human dignity) in the Swedish Aid Policy Framework and implementation of the strategy of humanitarian assistance.
