The contract area is located in the town of Kangasala in the Vatiala district in the new plan area of Lemety, about eight kilometres from the city centre. The purpose of the work is to renovate the initial section of Mannakorventie up to pile 306 and to build a new part related to it.

In addition, new streets and combined sidewalks and cycle paths will be built in the plan area. The contract also includes, for example, the construction of a water supply network and work commissioned by electricity and telecommunications operators. The construction of stormwater basins in the Lemety area and the construction of a noise barrier along Highway 12 will also be included in the contract.
