This contract applies to institutional places that the participating municipalities primarily have themselves, but where the municipalities sometimes need better capacity. The nursing home places are intended to be used for person in need of somatic care/nursing and for patients who have cognitive impairment and / or a diagnosis of dementia. There may be a need for reinforced nursing and care services, increased requirements for medical supervision, shielding, maintenance of functional level and any rehabilitation.

The contract can also be used by other municipal entities, including all governmental bodies and coalitions established by one or more of these municipalities.

The framework agreement will apply for Lunner and Jevnaker Municipalities. Option for Gran Municipality to enter into the framework agreement if required.

The framework agreement will be valid for two years with an option for an extension for one year at a time to a total length of maximum four years.

The requirement for nursing home places varies and is purchased individually on a case-by-case basis. The municipality wants to enter into parallel framework agreements with several tenderers to ensure accessibility, good terms and compliance with the regulations.

The nursing home places are divided into two groups for which tenders are requested:
