Package 1 - Local routes in and around Silkeborg Municipality- Kørselsomfang

The tender covers the operation of local regular services in and around Silkeborg Municipality.
The services are offered in the same package in order for the bus company to exploit any synergies from combined operations, e.g. charging infrastructure for the buses and flexible use of the buses across routes.
This includes approximately 7650 timetable hours per year using 5 contract buses and a minimum of 1 spare bus.

- Parallel offer
.
Midttrafik's 67th tender is a tender with two packages with parallel offers, where bus companies can submit tenders for driving for one or both packages of electric buses or diesel buses.
In concrete terms, this means that bus companies can submit offers for each of the packages for:
1) Driving with brand new low-entry electric buses for a 10-year contract period

2) Max 12-year low-entry diesel buses for a 5-year contract period. The offer for diesel buses is supplemented by an option offer for CO2-neutral biodiesel.

- Combination offer
.
Combination offers can be made for Combination A (Packages 1 + 2)
If an offer is made for Combination A, only a minimum of 1 spare bus is required.

-Propellant
.
It is possible to bid on the package with either electric buses, Euronorm 6 diesel buses or upgraded Euro 5 buses to comply with the Euro 6 environmental class.
It is a requirement that only buses/solutions are offered, where there are no infrastructure initiatives in the urban space. This means that when tendering with electric buses, no offers may be made with buses that require the installation of charging stations in the urban space - charging of electric buses must be able to take place at the bus company's own facilities or other facilities approved for the purpose.

- Contract period – Electric buses
.
The contract covered by the tender is a fixed-term contract of 10 years for parallel offers for electric buses – here with the possibility of extension for up to 2 x 2 years under the following conditions:
1) Midttrafik can extend the contract for up to 2 years. At Midttrafik's option, extensions can be made for 1 year at a time.
2) After this, the parties may, by mutual agreement, extend the contract for up to another 2 years. Extension can be made by mutual agreement of the parties for 1 year at a time.
Package 1 includes a contract period from 29 June 2025 to 30 June 2035

- Contract period – diesel buses
.
The contract covered by the tender is a fixed-term contract of 5 years for parallel offers on diesel buses – here with the possibility of extension for up to 2 x 1 year under the following conditions:
1) Midttrafik may extend the contract by 1 year.
2) After this, the parties may, by mutual agreement, extend the contract for another 1 year.
Package 1 includes a contract period from June 29, 2025 to June 29, 2030.
Package 2- Local routes in and around Kjellerup and Fårvang.- Kørselsomfang

The tender covers the operation of local regular services in and around Kjellerup and Fårvang.
The services are offered in the same package in order for the bus company to exploit any synergies from combined operations, e.g. charging infrastructure for the buses and flexible use of the buses across routes.
This includes approximately 4760 timetable hours per year using 4 contract buses and a minimum of 1 spare bus.
