The contract work concerns the works and works necessary for the safety of a section of the A / 18 Messina-Catania motorway which corresponds to the progressive 32 + 700 kilometer, following the meteorological events of considerable magnitude and prolonged in the time that occurred in October of 2015, was affected by a severe geomorphological failure. The executive project envisages, among other things, the construction of a double tunnel on both the carriages of the motorway and the construction above the tunnels of an embankment of the "terre terre" type with the function of stabilizing foot of the ruined slope.
