This means that, thanks to the funding provided by the FSC, a total of 672 children in Catania in 2023 will have to be able to benefit from supplementary early childhood services and/or municipal nurseries. The object of the contract is the implementation of the project that contributes to the objective of developing the offer of municipal services aimed at families with children aged between 3 months and three years by creating 232 new places.

Playground

These are places designed to offer children, from the age of one, an educational and social opportunity. The children are entrusted to one or more educators on a continuous basis in an environment organized for educational, care and socialization purposes, do not provide a canteen service and allow flexible attendance, for a maximum of five hours a day

Kindergartens

They welcome girls and boys from three to thirty-six months and contribute with the collaboration of their families to their education and care. They are characterized by the small number of children (from 6 to 24) entrusted to one or more educators on a continuous basis.
