DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH looks after the IP video technology at traffic stations that are spread across the whole of Germany. In order to ensure the functionality of the IP video technology, in particular so that the Federal Police can fulfill their sovereign tasks, the client provides plannable technical maintenance services as well as needs-based troubleshooting.

The focus of this tender is on eliminating faults, as this takes place every day of the year and around the clock.

Currently (as of 09/2020) there are 111 already equipped traffic stations.

The conversion of all other traffic stations to IP video technology will be carried out through further projects in the coming years.

The contractor must ensure that only the specifically defined work platform model is available and is made available at the assigned traffic station within the time periods defined for the commissioned traffic station. A substitution by other models or the provision of different work platforms is not permitted.

For the delivery of the working platforms, the delivery qualities are 24 x 7 4h, 6h, 8h, 12h and Mon-Fri. needed on the next working day.
