The city of Markranstädt with its 17 districts is an up-and-coming municipality, bordering Leipzig in the east with a total of around 16,000 inhabitants and belonging to the district of Leipzig.
The structure of the city of Markranstädt is characterized by numerous incorporations in recent years. In 1997 Frankenheim and Lindennaundorf were incorporated and in 1999 the municipal areas of Gärnitz, Kulkwitz and Seebenisch were incorporated, which formed the dissolved municipality of Kulkwitz. In 2000, Priesteblich followed as a district of the dissolved municipality of Bienitz. Finally, Großlehna followed with the incorporation on 01.01.2006.
The city of Markranstädt is experiencing a continuous influx and thus a further growth of residents, not least due to the very good transport connections to the city of Leipzig as well as the long-distance road and the good accessibility given in this respect (Leipzig center about 10 km, Dresden 140 km) as well as the existing settlement of companies in the commercial areas Kulkwitz, Großlehna, Frankenheim and Ranstädter Mark.
Because of this positive development of the population in every respect and the influx of families with children, it is now also to come to the construction of a new daycare center, namely the "Kita am See".
The measure is to be supported by subsidies. In this respect, among other things, the funding according to the funding guideline KitaBau (RL KitaBau), school infrastructure ordinance or the guideline of the Saxon. The city of Markranstädt wants to implement the construction of a new day care center, whereby a potential bidder is responsible for a proposal for the one- or two-storey structure of the building. A barrier-free building is to be built.
The new building to be built will enable the care of a total of 120 children, divided into 75 kindergarten places and 40 crèche places as well as 5 inclusion places.

In addition, the following basic services are required: thermal insulation and energy balance, room acoustics.
Special services/consulting services are to be provided: fire protection concept / fire protection certificate, fire brigade, escape and rescue plans, SiGeKo and preparation of energy certificate.
The call for tenders is optional (LP 1-3, 4; 5-7 and 8-9) and the commissioning of the options depends on the approval of subsidies and granting the building permit.
The total cost framework for the measure (KG 200-700) is approx.
