The subject of the contract is the SPA monitoring in selected EU bird protection areas in Thuringia as well as the surveys in the associated reference areas.
Reference areas 2019 - 2022: Monitoring of valuable and / or rare breeding bird species and of indicator bird speciesThe overall performance includes the operation / coordination as well as the expansion of the nationwide reference area framework including the acquisition of new employees, data validation and evaluation in the years 2019 - 2022. The area is currently about 200 000 ha in size and comprises about 50 reference areas.
