New Kristiansand municipality requests tenders for the delivery of books and audio books for Kristiansand Public library and school libraries.

The current book agreement shall form the basis for the new contract. If a new book contract is entered after the current book contract expires, any new terms related to price/discounts apply to the contract that is entered into based on this tender contest.

Exceptions from the agreement:

— procurement of textbooks to the School libraries,

— e-books and comic strips for Kristiansand Public Library are also excluded from the tender contest,

— Kristiansand International School's books to own library when it is necessary to follow the International Baccalaureate's (IB) requirements.

The contracting authority receives catalogue data free of charge from the National library. This is a service that can be used by all Norwegian public libraries.
