Establishment of a STEM excellence school with boarding school for high school students in the former Japanese school in Bad Saulgau. The construction project is divided into 2 parts:

Existing building

Historic renovation and restructuring of the historic existing buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Roof renovation and facade renovation with energy improvement, renovation and remodeling inside the building, creating barrier-free and preventive structural fire protection and new building installation. The existing buildings north and south construction offer a NUF of approx. 3 500 m 2nd . The office space for staff, the classrooms without scientific specialist rooms, the food supply and the necessary ancillary rooms are to be housed in the buildings. Construction is scheduled to run from October 2022 to September 2025. The cost of cost group 400 is approx. EUR 5.75 million.

Extension buildings

In the sustainable and energy-efficient new buildings with a building shell in passive house quality, scientific specialist rooms with school laboratories, an assembly hall for events, boarding rooms and common rooms for 196 schoolchildren as well as the necessary ancillary rooms are to be accommodated. The spatial program includes the usage areas of the auditorium with 380 m 2nd NUF, science departments and school laboratories with NUF 1 150 m 2nd and boarding school with NUF 2 784 m 2nd . The aim is to achieve silver certification according to the sustainable building evaluation system for federal buildings (BNB). Construction is scheduled to take place from June 2023 to July 2026. The cost of cost group 400 is approx. EUR 6.7 million.

Engineering services in accordance with Part 4, Section 2 HOAI for MINT Excellence School Bad Saulgau, renovation of existing buildings, new construction of auditorium, boarding school and NW specialist rooms, service phase 2-8 and special services
