Conveyances of deceased people ordered by the police are the subject of the acquisition.

The call for tenders is targeted by police on call for the deceased in the South Kymenlaakso region (Pyhä, Kotka, Hamina, Virolahti and Mielälälä). The acquisition is subject to:

On-call transport in which the deceased is transferred from the location to the holding of the deceased or directly to the post of autopsy. N.B. Transportation directly to the autopsy site is an exceptional case. In the previous contract period, there have been an estimated 1-2 times a year such exceptional cases.

In the previous contract period, there have been approx 180pc of on-call transport per annum (approx 15pc per month).

Transportation shall include the waiting period due to police or health care actions.

In the previous contract period, the waiting time has been estimated at 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the time of day, about three times a year.

Carrying volumes for the previous contract period reflect the anticipated acquisition volume of the valued acquisition, which may differ from realized.
