The acquisition includes the renewal of the current Koulukatu underpass, including pile slabs, the pole foundations of the electric railway line, the construction of signalling devices and cable ducts in the area, and the installation of a protective pipe and a flow pipe for the Turku water supply. The construction work will be carried out in blocks in two phases according to a separate work phase plan.

The procurement includes, among other things, the following works:

- Demolition of the current Koulukatu underpass, track superstructure and switches

- Construction of the new Koulukatu underpass

- Construction of new pile slabs

- Construction of a protective pipe for the aqueduct, as well as a flow pipeline

- Construction of signalling system openings in the area, transfer of signalling well and construction of cable ducts

The construction work will be carried out according to a separate work phase plan.
