200-gram woollen undergarments are used by men and women in all branches of the Norwegian Armed Services. The articles are primarily used in the Norwegian climate in summer and winter in temperatures from approx. +10 C to -40 C for use in the field as an insulating layer between and underneath clothing. When used below deck on vessels, indoors and in tents, the articles are also used as outer garments, necessitating flame retardation. The anticipated lifetime for the articles and accessories is a minimum of 12 months during daily use.

Thin wool is used by men and women in all branches of the Norwegian Armed Forces. The articles are primarily used in the field as outer and under clothing in the Norwegian climate, depending on the article. The clothing is used in summer and winter in temperatures from approx. +10 C to -40 C. The articles are used in combination with the Norwegian Armed Forces’ netting underwear, wool terry 200 gram and 400 gram, both as a layer on layer concept and individually for different climate conditions. Different types of outerwear and garments with stronger insulation will be used as needed.

The articles are primarily used in the field as middle layer clothing, as insulating garments for use in the Norwegian climate in temperatures from approx. 0 C t-o 40 C. Below deck on vessels, indoors and in tents, the articles are also used as outer garments.
