East Staffordshire Borough Council is seeking a contractor to upgrade and replace its existing CCTV cameras and infrastructure and undertake associated maintenance services.
The proposed Contract is for the purchase and installation of the necessary CCTV cameras and associated infrastructure, and maintenance services. The purchase and installation is to be completed by 31st March 2022.
The maintenance element will be for a period of three years, commencing 1st April 2023, with the option to extend for up to two further years.

The proposed Contract is for the purchase and installation of the necessary CCTV cameras and associated infrastructure, and maintenance services. The purchase and installation is to be completed by 31st March 2022. The Contractor is required to supply and install the specified CCTV cameras in the current locations/anchor points and ensure the configuration of the system so it is fully functional, including full connectivity with the monitoring station.
The maintenance element will be for a period of three years, commencing 1st April 2023, with the option to extend for up to two further years. The Services shall include the programmed preventative maintenance and fault repair of 25 cameras in the Burton upon Trent area and 14 cameras within Uttoxeter. The Contractor shall also carry out the programmed preventative maintenance in accordance with the proposed schedule of works submitted by the Contractor
The estimated contract value is £240,000 for the purchase and installation element (inclusive of VAT) and approximately £28,800 per annum for the ongoing maintenance element (inclusive of VAT). The estimated total contract value for the potential five years of the contract is therefore £384,000.
