Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of equipment for fluid-based cytology for screening in the 'cervix programme'. 40 000 cervix samples per annum are expected in this examination. In the long term we would also like to prepare other cytological samples with the same system.
The offered system shall be able to handle the entire process from primary sample to the ready coloured smear, not including assembly.
The offered system shall be able to handle the entire process from primary sample to the ready coloured smear, not including assembly. Automation and quality will be emphasised in this procurement.
Tenders must also include sample taking equipment for a further 70 000 samples, for primary screening of HPV DNA in the cervix programme.
The system's capacity can be expanded in the future, both as regards the number of samples and the option of introducing automated screening and digital diagnostics.
