Bergen municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of simple printing services and printed matter. The contract does include printing signage.

The contract is limited to companies or programmes where the main objective is to integrate disabled or disadvantaged persons into working life, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations §16-9.

The contracting authority reserves the right to hold separate contests for major printing runs or special assignments. This may, for example, apply to printed matter to be distributed to all residents within a larger area. 

The contract should include setting, simple design, finishing in the form of folding, stapling and gluing as well as packing, packaging, delivery and distribution.

All departments in Bergen that require simple printed matter must be able to use the service. Bergen municipality is part of a procurement cooperation, and affiliated partners will also be able to use the service.

The framework agreement shall cover the contracting authority´s need for printing services in an expedient and cost efficient way. The extent and complexity of the delivery can vary as regards the estimated need and for each individual call-off.

Adjacent agreements:

Bergen municipality has a service contract that is adjacent to this agreement. The agreement is with Canon Norge AS for access to a managed print solution and hardware (multi-function machines). This contract gives all units access to multi-functional machines for daily use.

The framework agreement for printing services and and printed matter will cover the needs beyond this, which are typically high volume simple photocopying or a need for a smaller amount of professional printed matter.
