For the construction of the Barmbek Nord stop, large-scale open excavation pits in the public road space are required. As a result, driving relationships have to be restricted or partially blocked. This leads to traffic shifts to alternative routes in the surrounding road network. Within the framework of a traffic concept, these effects were examined and capacity-increasing measures were developed to handle the additional traffic at the relevant junctions in the surrounding area. Structural measures are to be implemented at nine junctions, which will result in milling and marking work, the setting and insertion of guiding elements and, in some cases, asphalt construction. The implementation and production of these structural measures are the subject of the tender.
