TRANSPORT SERVICE FOR PATIENTS ADMITTED TO THE A.O.U. SAN LUIGI GONZAGA FOR 48 MONTHS, PLUS THE OPTION OF EXTENSION FOR A MAXIMUM OF 6 MONTHS

The basic amount of the tender includes the labour costs that the Contracting Authority has estimated at € 1,140,478.86 calculated as indicated in the document Identification of labour costs.

Labor costs are not subject to downside.

The estimated total value of the contract is € 2,003,642.40, net of VAT, divided as follows:

Total amount (A+B) € 1,426,080.00

Amount for the contract extension option € 178,260.00

Amount of the fifth obligation if there is an increase of € 285,216.00

Price revision amount € 114,086.40

The contracted service will have to guarantee the transport of patients admitted to the San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital:

a) from the hospitalization or Day Hospital facilities to the diagnosis and treatment services within the Company and to the SSD Operating Rooms, and their return to the original facilities,

(b) from the DEA to the hospitals and to the diagnostic services,

(c) from inpatient facilities to other inpatient facilities.

The patient transport activity, which is the subject of the contract, can be traced back to the following types of patients:

1. patients to be transported in wheelchairs, involving accompanying activities, without medical/nursing escort;

2. patients to be transported by bed, involving accompanying activities, without medical/nursing escort;

3. Patients to be transported by bed, with medical/nursing/OSS escort.

The contracted service must be understood as an auxiliary service with the aim of guaranteeing the accompaniment of non-autonomous patients in walking to the diagnosis and treatment services and Operating Rooms, ensuring that transport is carried out in the shortest possible time, in maximum safety and maximum patient care.

The activity must be guaranteed for 6 days a week (from Monday to Saturday) in the following time slots:

a) Monday to Friday: from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

b) Saturday: from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

The contracted service must also guarantee, exclusively at the SSD Operating Theatres, the urgent and impromptu transport of biological material to the laboratories (Analysis Laboratory, Pathological Anatomy, Immunotransfusion and Anesthesia and Resuscitation), the urgent collection of pharmaceutical material and the urgent collection of health documentation, functional to the successful outcome of the surgical procedure.
