The OC has an objective to deliver a robust and cost effective radio infrastructure and service platforms that ensure all aspects of business and games-wide connectivity and information flow are fit for purpose, thus enabling a high performance Games environment.

The provision of world class radio communications solution forms a key component in supporting this corporate strategy, along with the OC’s vision, mission and objectives for the games.

The OC is therefore seeking a radio communication solution which is flexible, dynamic and developed in close partnership with the OC – collectively helping the Games are the very best they can be.

The current estimated contract value is 1 500 000 GBP to 2 500 000 GBP, which will be subject to the final scope of the radio communications services.

The contract duration will be for the period of commencement of contract (envisaged to be January 2013) until completion of services, envisaged to be August 2014. (In the case that a Contractor enters into a sponsorship arrangement with the OC, the term of the sponsorship Contract will extend to the 31.12.2014.).

Please note the OC may award more than one contract and these may be for all, or part only, of the services. This will be further advised as the competitive dialogue process is developed.
