The wellbeing services county/assistive device centre of Ostrobothnia requests a tender for installation and maintenance services for alarm systems for the hearing impaired and for maintenance and repair services for hearing aids for the contract period 2023-2024 + option for 2025-2026. The contract period starts on 1.6.2023. A separate decision on the exercise of the option is made no later than 3 months before the end of the contract period.
The service includes the installation and maintenance of alarm systems for the hearing impaired. This takes place in the clients' homes, according to the recommendation of the rehabilitation counsellor, throughout the wellbeing services county of Ostrobothnia. The service must be offered in Finnish or Swedish according to the customer's own language and, if necessary, the services of a sign language or a foreign language interpreter are utilised as paid for by the Client. Approximately 120 new alarm systems are installed annually. It is estimated that the number of maintenance of old systems is about 10 per month. The assistive device centre is responsible for ordering and delivering alarm systems and add-ons for the service provider's use. The products have already been put out to tender in the erva area, so this tendering process includes only the installation and maintenance services of alarm systems and their commissioning guidance.
The service also includes the maintenance and repair of an assistive device issued to the customer on the basis of hearing impairment. Assistive devices for the hearing impaired are serviced at the service provider's office in the wellbeing services county of Ostrobothnia while the customer waits during the same working day. If the customer brings the device for service less than half an hour before the service provider's closing time, the service can be carried out on the next working day.
