Advice for new bag filter at Wastewater Treatment Plant Lynetten

BIOFOS hereby conducts an EU tender for consultancy assignments in connection with a project to replace the existing bag filter on Lynetten. The advisory task consists of, among other things, preparation of tender documents, participation in the tender phase, contracting, participation in construction meetings and supervision.

BIOFOS has tried various measures to meet the challenges of the bag filter, but has not been able to make the filter work satisfactorily and run with stable operation. This means that BIOFOS is moving further and further away from operating the flue gas cleaning as it is designed, with unintended consequences. BIOFOS entered into a contract with MOE in May 2022 regarding feasibility studies of the existing filter as well as a decision note regarding the further course of the bag filter.

That call for tenders therefore concerns the procurement and export phase. BIOFOS expects to send out construction tenders in autumn 2022.
