In Salford we want every child and young person to achieve their potential. Salford City Council are inviting bids for the independent inspection visits for the authority’s residential children’s homes (RCH’s) and Secure Childrens Centre in accordance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Regulation 44 (Reg 44). The successful provider/s will continue to meet the authority’s statutory duty to ensure the inspection visits for residential children’s homes are commissioned and conducted independently of itself.

The contract will be split into two lots:-

Lot 1: Undertaking of statutory Reg 44 Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) to Salford’s five children’s homes, and the Route 29 provision.

Lot 2: Undertaking of statutory Reg 44 Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) to Salford’s Secure Children’s Home.
