The Authority is seeking an experienced and established pharmaceutical provider to supply and dispense pharmaceutical medicines, medication or medicinal products.

Key requirements:

— medicine procurement and distribution, including Controlled Drugs (CDs), ward and patient suppliers, patient packs required for supply against relevant Patient Group Directions (PGDs),

— storage and return of medicines,

— dispensing and supply of medicines,

— specialist monitoring: clozapine,

— medicines information,

— formulary and stock management,

— financial management information and medicine expenditure reporting,

— access to medicines and out-of-hours arrangements,

— ordering, storage and supply of childhood and adult vaccines,

— HIV medicines,

— support for general health and wellbeing initiatives, for example smoking cessation.
