The order includes the object planning services of the service profile buildings and interiors according to § 33 ff HOAI in conjunction with Annex 10 HOAI, service phases 2 to 9 for the general renovation of the State Vocational School Kitzingen-Ochsenfurt, location Kitzingen.

The vocational school in Kitzingen was built in 1957 with a one-storey administration building and a caretaker's house on the western end of the so-called old building. Due to a lack of teaching rooms and workshops, the 5-storey main building towards the FOS / BOS was built in 1979 (conversion and extension, caretaker and administration building were demolished). Attention is drawn to the attached plans and the aerial photo. The flat roofs of the workshops were renovated in 2003. In 2006, in the course of the construction of the competence center / vocational school in Kitzingen, the workshops and some rooms in the old building were renovated and used. The business and administration departments, nutrition and gastronomy as well as wood technology at the Kitzingen site were expanded. In the course of the general renovation of the neighboring Armin-Knab-Gymnasium, the heating center in the school center, which also supplies the vocational school, was renewed and switched to operation with wood chips from the basic load. A fundamental renovation of the main building and the old building of the vocational school has so far not taken place. Due to the age of the school, comprehensive renovation measures must now be carried out with regard to house technology and electrical engineering including EDP installation, the entire facade including window elements and the entire surfaces (floors, walls, ceilings). The measures actually required are to be determined in the course of the planning now advertised. The general renovation of the vocational school in Kitzingen must take place during operation. Whether and to what extent interim measures are necessary must also be clarified in the course of the planning. The sponsor is currently in intensive coordination with the government of Lower Franconia regarding the spatial program, which has not yet been released, however.

The fire protection concept and the pollutant tests are already available. Parts of work phase 2 have already been carried out and may be used. This can reduce the scope of services. The total cost of the construction project may not exceed EUR 16 500 000 (cost group 200 to 700) including VAT.
