The audit work and the natural advisory function form a coherent whole that is carried out by one accounting firm.

An agreement is entered into with one contractor for a period of four years with two renewal options, each for one year. The agreement will take effect around 1 June 2022.

The official organization and the accountant work together to carry out the annual checks. The accountant is responsible for the realization of the planning (s) of all audit work.

During the financial year, the accountant carries out an interim audit, the so-called interim audit. This control is aimed at the operation of the administrative organizations of the municipality of Waalre.

The accountant carries out an annual audit every year. This audit results in the report of findings and the auditor's statement each year. In these documents, the auditor makes a ruling on the fidelity of the annual accounts and the legal responsibility contained therein. Sisa statements are part of the financial statements audit.

The knowledge and insights that the accountant gains during his audit work places him in a unique position to contribute to the solution of the client's issues. The natural advisory function is considered to be an integral part of the service provided by an accountant.
