Awarding of public transport services in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) for the lines RE 30 Wolfsburg Hbf - Hannover Hbf and RE 50 Wolfsburg Hbf - Braunschweig Hbf - Hildesheim Hbf - Elze (Han).

The public services to be awarded in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) include the lines RE 30 Wolfsburg Hbf - Hannover Hbf and RE 50 Wolfsburg Hbf - Braunschweig Hbf - Hildesheim Hbf - Elze (Han). The regional rail transport services must be provided at least in the period from the timetable change in December 2025 to the timetable change in December 2038. The contracting authorities have the right to unilaterally extend the term of the contract and thus the service period by up to two timetable years (extension option). The regional rail transport services have a total volume of approx. 2,900,000 train kilometres/year in operating stage 1 and approx. 3,100,000 train-kilometres/year in operating stage 2. If you exercise the half-hourly option between Braunschweig and Hildesheim, the scope of services will increase by approx. 130,000 train kilometres/year.

The services are to be provided with the existing electric multiple units used in the existing network as well as with newly procured electric multiple units from the vehicle pool of Regionalbahnfahrzeuge Großraum Braunschweig GmbH, whereby the existing manufacturer-based maintenance is to be used in each case.
