It is intended to implement a major organizational change in the tax offices of the State of Brandenburg. Across the country, this affects approx. 1064 processors, who mostly work in groups of four, with each processor having fixed responsibilities. Due to the IT development, this way of working is no longer possible, so that restructuring is necessary. A specialist working group has developed a new organizational model based on teams of six. The core elements of this new model are the abolition of fixed responsibilities (synonymous with the expansion of tasks and higher technical requirements for the employees) and the establishment of team structures (self-management, team responsibility).
The organizational change should be accompanied by team training at the work level and with moderated workshops at the management level, so that a change in the work philosophy (towards shared tasks and responsibility) can be achieved.
