The Shillingstone CE Primary School, within the Trust, proposes a contract for the outsourced provision of an on-site childcare in a nursery setting (currently named Maypole Nursery). The building is situated within the school grounds but is a self-contained building with its own outdoor space, that was purposely built for a nursery provision in 2011. The nursery space is established, maintained, and well-appointed with a cooking area, toilets, and a staff room. The nursery can, at the discretion of the Headteacher, use the hard play areas, playing fields, small kitchen, Class 3 toilets, and school hall for such activities as afterschool club. The school must be left in a clean and tidy condition. The service will provide all year round day care for ages for children aged 0-5 years old, with the opportunity to offer afterschool and holiday clubs for children aged 0-12 years old.
