Regarding the "high" network, the Águas do Norte, SA project is divided into three zones:
- Zone 1:
Between the chiping/diversion in the existing FFD DN 600mm elevating pipeline E.N. 206 and the Vale de S. Martinho bypass chamber, the pipeline will be carried out in FFD DN350mm (1,474 m). From this chamber it goes in FFD DN300mm to the Vale S. Martinho Reservoir (1,803 m) and in DN200mm to Vale S. Cosme (3,568 m). The new gravitational conduit between the Vale S. Martinho Reservoir and the Vale de S. Martinho diversion chamber will be carried out in FFD DN200mm (1,795 m).
In this area, a "low" delivery point to the network is planned.
- Zone 2:
Implementation of the Torre de Cima Reservoir (400 m3), the pumping station (EE1) and the respective pumping duct, with an extension of 1,886m in FFD DN 80mm.
- Zone 3:
Implementation of the Paço Reservoir (400m3), the pumping station (EE2) and the respective pumping duct, with an extension of 1,868m in FFD DN 80mm.
As for the "downtown" network, the project of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão foresees the installation of 8,965.00 m of HDPE pipe, with diameters ranging from 90mm to 160mm, 7 pressure reducing valves, 220 branches and 17 fire frames.
