The contractors primarily assist AWV's participation managers in determining participation processes within the projects that present themselves (AWV will give orders for specific projects). The contractors will develop a coherent process architecture for each participation process and then supervise the roll-out of that process architecture. In supervising participation processes in the field, the contractors will play a mediating role with a view to constructive cooperation.
The contractors are expected to provide expertise in the field of stakeholder analysis and participation methods, setting up a process architecture in function of the objective of the planning process, facilitating participation in small and large groups, communicating and working with various target groups and capturing all information obtained during the process. Expertise is also expected in setting up digital participation moments.
It is of paramount importance to use comprehensible, promotional visual material in participation processes and communication with the public. The contractor is responsible for developing the necessary visual material together with the engineering office concerned, tailored to the target audience.
Texts relating to the participation processes (e.g. for web pages, newsletters, leaflets, etc. about the plans-in-preparation) or resulting from them (e.g. reports of participation moments) can be written by the contractors of the present assignment. If derived texts (e.g. a press release or a resident's letter) have to be written on the basis of these texts, the contractor will be asked to prepare this.
The contractors of the present contract may, together with the technical engineering firms, prepare participation moments and coordinate their entire organisation. The contractors will also plan and implement the communication about the participation,
