The purpose of the contract is to:
- technical audit and analysis of the operation of the wastewater treatment plant
Brussels North in view of the end of the concession
- study services on the improvement of the treatment of South WWTP and WWTP
North.
Audit of WWTP NorthAs part of the takeover of WWTP North scheduled for March 2027, Hydria wishes to carry out a state of
Comprehensive plant locations (facilities, treatment processes, etc.) to obtain an analysis
objective of the state of the latter and to identify the elements that would not comply with the terms
Contract. This audit mission will be composed of three parts: an initial inventory, a
Intermediate update and finally a final inventory. Each mission will be delimited in time and
will have to take into account the resources to be allocated by the station operator.
Study of technical solutions to be implemented to improve the treatment of WWTP North and WWTP SouthTo enable stations to comply with certain sections of the proposed revision of the
European Directive on the treatment of urban waste water (91/271/EEC) published on 26
October 2022, the successful bidder will have to study and determine the technical solutions that could be
implemented on the North WWTP as well as on the SOUTH WWTP.
This market will therefore be based on analytical methods that aim to obtain the maximum
relevant information by limiting the time required to collect data. This implies on the one hand that
the selected tenderers have significant and extensive experience in the water sector and
the methods of analysis are relevant, some of which have already been tested in other cities, and
applicable to the water sector of the Brussels-Capital Region.
