Part of the deep borehole project (TBO project) is the installation of multi-packer long-term monitoring systems to measure the hydraulic head (groundwater level and groundwater pressure) of designated formations as well as to take groundwater samples from selected deep aquifers. Nagra wishes to award one contract for the supply and installation of multi-packer long-term monitoring systems in three vertical TBO boreholes including reporting. The contract has the option for extension for additional TBO boreholes. A minimum of seven observation intervals per borehole is planned and their depth is expected to range between approx. 100 – 1200 m.

The following work items are requested:

— supply of multi-packer systems (stand pipe system) including all downhole and surface equipment as well as data acquisition systems,

— installation of all equipment parts in three selected TBO boreholes,

— planning and mobilisation report,

— installation report.
