Since the contract that the BST has signed for the provision of refreshment to blood donors has expired, it has the obligation to renew it to comply with the provisions of current regulations and applicable in public procurement. The food and beverages that are the subject of this contract are given to blood donors once the charitable act of donation has been performed. The most essential after donation are liquids.

The tender includes snacks, water, juices at least 4 flavors, cola, salted products and sweets to vary during the year:

330 ml mineral water without gas; Fruit juice in mini brik and individual sustainable container (paper cup) of approximately 200 ml. The rest of the products are varied snacks, dehydrated or semi-dehydrated fruit, regular cookies, sweet and savory snacks or other products of a similar nature.

As an element to be taken into account, an approximate forecast of 260,000 real donations is calculated for each exercise, understanding as donation the number of blood bags obtained.
