Building of new modular and portable buildings at Eastfield Depot.

The current temporary portacabin type modular buildings at Eastfield Depot are life expired and becoming difficult and costly to maintain. There are potential fire safety compliance issues affecting safety. The enhancements to the Depot for the Edinburgh to Glasgow Improvement Project have created additional posts and activity which pushes the need for additional, suitable accommodation for various levels of staff as well as mess, locker and training facilities.

The successful bidders will provide:

— detailed plans for delivery of the project,

— all materials and man-resources to complete the project in a timely manner,

— the contract to deliver the above will be subject to the supplier proving deliverability within the timescales and value for money.
