The University Hospital Tübingen is planning a “Center for Mental Health” at the Talklinikum.
A station extension to the Vita building, Osianderstraße 5, is intended to create space for the psychosomatic clinic to move into the valley.
The following uses are housed in the annex:
— Entrance area with recording,
— 28 beds in single and twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms,
— station rooms per bed level,
— Investigation room,
— doctors' rooms and therapy/intervention rooms for individual and group therapy,
— lounges with tea kitchens,
— teaching kitchen for specialized treatment settling for patients with eating disorders,
— common areas to meet and linger,
— group rooms,
— spaces for creative, social, body, movement, physiotherapy, family therapy and biofeedback,
— functional and technical rooms,
— clearances and areas for garden therapy,

Insulation and fire protection work on the technical systems for the extension Vita for approx. 1 100 m of drinking water pipes, 100 waste and storm water pipes, approx. 700 m pipelines for heat supply, 200 m pipelines for the refrigeration supply and 50 m
The work is tendered, including the necessary fire safety measures and fire foreclosure.
