Sarastia Oy's Procurement Unit requests offers to its customers for interpreting services and translation services for the Lapland region in accordance with the tender documents.

Competitive services include presence, remoteness, and notification interpreting services and translation services in different languages. In addition, the procurement of sign language interpreting service will be included in the competitiveness of the interpreting services subset as an option.

The acquisition is divided into the following subentities:

1. Interpreting services to the region of Lapland

2. Translation services to the region of Lapland

Competition shall be carried out through an open procedure, on the basis of which up to five (5) most eligible vendors are selected as a contract supplier for each subset, which form a framework arrangement; contracts. The same provider can be selected for several subsets.

The basis for choosing competition is overall economic affordability. In the subset, the weight of the price is 72 points and the weight of the quality is 28 points. In subset 2, the weight of the price is 83 points and the weight of the quality is 17 points. If more bidders receive the same score, the contracting entity will value the complaining bidders. The draw is an accepted custom in case law.

The contract period is a fixed term of four (4) years. The contract has a termination period of six (6) months for both contracting parties and Sarastian client entities committed to the acquisition, despite the period. The users of the contract have the right to terminate only from the desired subentities.

The contract of procurement begins no earlier than the procurement decision obtained by the force of law. Entities associated with the agreement (see contractual base) will enter the scope of the contract after the termination of their existing agreements.
