The Aalto University Foundation, operating as Aalto University invited tenders for fundraising consulting service for Aalto University's fundraising activity in accordance with this invitation to tender and its terms and annexes.
Aalto University seeks support with the continuous development of its fundraising strategy, goals and practices, especially in establishing a long-term pool of funds that offer attractive opportunities for donors and support Aalto's strategic goals, and in developing international fundraising. The Contract shall enter into force on the day of its signature by the authorized representatives of the Parties and shall stay valid until further notice, with a one (1)-month mutual termination period.
Aalto is engaged in a major governmental matching funding campaign. Aalto's goal is to raise 20 000 000 EUR by June 2017. Aalto's fundraising team works in close cooperation with the University's corporate relations team, coordinating efforts to build long-term relationships with companies, and at the same time fundraising efforts have expanded towards alumni and foundations. During the past seven years, fundraising efforts have largely concentrated in Finland. The intention is to become global with the help of corporate contacts, alumni abroad, and the appeal of Aalto's combination of competence areas and entrepreneurial profile.
