A new community center is being built for the municipality of Asten (GFA approximately 3,450 m2), the realization of this new building is being put out to tender in two separate assignments according to the restricted European procedure:

• The first tender concerns the contract for the construction of a new community house in the municipality of Asten. These selection guidelines relate to this tendering procedure.

• The second tender concerns the realization of the installations (both electrical and mechanical) for this new community house. Although the contractor (s) of this second tender must work closely with the contractor who wins the first tender, the present procedure is not about the second tender.

The intended effective date of the agreements is July 31, 2021.

During the selection phase, the draft building agreement, the draft coordination agreement and the additions to the UAV 2012 were added.

Although the two contracts are tendered and awarded separately from each other, a final award of each contract will only take place when agreement has been reached with the winning contractor for each of the separate contracts. In other words: the assignment as a whole (the total of the two assignments) will be commissioned at the same time so that the entire new construction is continued as a whole to the realization phase.

In addition to the building contract, the contractors of both assignments each sign a coordination agreement in which the contractor of tender 1 (constructional realization) is appointed to supervise the work resulting from both separate agreements on behalf of the client.
