The aim of the procurement is to ensure that Oslo Municipality always has sufficient testing capacity to carry out Covid-19 tests on Oslo Municipality's inhabitants.
Oslo Municipality offers the actual testing to the municipality's inhabitants under municipal management, but requires assistance from private suppliers to ensure that Oslo Municipality always, depending on the spread of infection, has sufficient testing capacity and resources to manage the Covid-19 situation in Oslo.
The entire procurement has an estimated total value of NOK 45 500 000-192 400 000 excluding VAT. The contracts' value is expected to be in the lower part of the given span. The lower part of the span is based on the real testing figures based on the current need, whilst the upper part is based on estimated costs for the procurement of approx. 12 000 tests a week.
