terranets bw GmbH is an independent transport network operator for gas. Since 1961, the company has been operating a gas transport system in large parts of Germany. With its approximately 2,700 km long pipeline network, terranets bw ensures the non-discriminatory transport of gas from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance. terranets bw has been continuously expanding its transport network for 60 years, thus ensuring security of supply at the highest level. Many cities and municipalities in Baden-Württemberg and Hesse as well as parts of Lower Saxony, Bavaria and Switzerland, Vorarlberg and the Principality of Liechtenstein are now connected to the terranets bw GmbH pipeline network.

In order to fulfil this task, terranets bw GmbH, in cooperation with bayernets GmbH, operates, among other things, a natural gas transfer/reference station at the Neu-Ulm site - station designation "Steinhäule". Due to necessary capacity expansion measures, the existing station has to be expanded by a new station. This station (station designation "Pfuhl") is to be built in the immediate vicinity (approx. 400m as the crow flies) and connected to the existing station in terms of pipeline technology.

In connection with the new construction of the Pfuhl station, terranets bw GmbH is tendering for the production of the plant technology (plant construction) of the new station to be built in a Europe-wide tendering procedure. The scope of services of the contractor includes the planning, production, construction, internal testing and commissioning of the gas pressure control and measuring system according to DVGW worksheet G491.

The required tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Production of pipe fittings/collectors DN 300 - DN500

- Introduction of fittings and appliances (including natural gas filters) into buildings

- Assembly of functional gas pressure control measuring rails incl. functional piping
