Implementation of meter reading services of SLP meters of the electricity, gas, water and heat divisions, mainly in the form of on-site readings and by map process, at Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH (WWN) and operationally managed companies of WWN.

Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH is the responsible metering point operator in the WWN grid area and is therefore responsible for obtaining and distributing the meter readings to authorized market participants. In addition, WWN serves business management agencies. The local tender includes on-site reading, card reading and, in the future, e-mail reading of so-called standard load profile meters (SLP meters) from the electricity, gas, water and heat sectors.

These are turnusable orders in the order of 750,000 counters of the on-site and about 16,000 counters of the map reading per year. There are about 9,500 special reading orders in the on-site reading orders, with difficult access conditions.

On-site reading may require multiple approaches. If the reading on site is not successful, a map process must be triggered afterwards. Similarly, a card process is necessary for the direct card reading jobs. This includes, among other things, printing, dispatch/delivery and the processing of feedback.

The reading is a full-service service. Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH ([Client (AG)] provides the reading orders including reading instructions at least once a month to an interface to be defined with the contractor, regardless of reading type and division, and expects real meter readings including photos and, if necessary, reading instructions.

In addition to the actual reading activity, the full-service also includes the provision of a system for reading order processing, which exchanges reading orders and meter readings with the system of the AG, the disposition, provision of mobile devices and other equipment for the reader. In addition, the acquisition, support and training of the reader as well as ensuring the necessary qualifications is the task of the Contractor. As a further channel for reporting the meter readings on the part of the customer, an online platform for meter reading input must be provided.

For the telephone or written processing of customer reports relating to the meter data, systems and channels must be provided by the Contractor on the one hand and also operated on the other.

For portals, written communication and other matters with customer contact, corporate designs of the AG as well as their currently two business agencies are to be used.
