The aim of the contract is a new and binding framework agreement for the procurement and subscription administration of Norwegian and foreign periodicals. The periodicals shall be delivered in both printed and/or electronic format to the stated addresses in accordance with the description in the tender documents.

A framework agreement shall be signed with one supplier for the assignment. The duration of the framework agreement will be 2 years. The contracting authority shall have an option for an extension to the framework agreement for a further 3 years (with an option for one (1) extra year), to a total maximum of 4 years.

The university library currently uses the library system Bibsys. All routines (orders, reminders etc.) shall be done in the library system that the university colleges use.

The framework agreement's total value is estimated to approx. 1 000 000 NOK per annum excluding VAT. This is only an estimate and the amount procured under the framework agreement can be larger or smaller than the estimate. The estimated value is not binding on the Contracting Authority.. The contracting authority has a total of approx. 450 running periodicals. An overview of the periodical subscriptions is attached to the price list. This overview is to be seen as a guideline, i.e. notice can be given on the periodicals in the period in the same way that new ones can be ordered.
