“Implementation of conservation activities specified in the PZO for Myszyniece Sasanian Bory PLH140049 and Karaska Khab Bory PLH140047 within the framework of the project: “Comprehensive project for the protection of species and habitats in areas managed by PGL State Forests” in the Forest District Myszyniec in the year 2022.
The subject of the contract is the implementation of conservation actions established by the Ordinance of the Regional Director of Environmental Protection in Warsaw of 15 April 2015 on the establishment of a conservation task plan for Natura 2000 Bory Chrobotkowe Karaska PLH140047 for natural habitat Pine bór 91T0 and Ordinance No. 31 of the Regional Director of Environmental Protection in Warsaw of 30 December 2013 on the establishment of a conservation task plan for Natura 2000 Myszyniec Sasankowe Bory PLH140049 for open sasanka (Pulsatilla patens) 1477 on the site The forest district of Myszyniec in the year 2022.
The scope of the kind is specified in the SWZ.
The type and quantity of services are determined in SWZ.
1) Conservation measures aimed at creating convenient conditions for the development of rue, appropriate for the natural habitat 91T0 pine bore, by counteracting the enrichment of the soil substrate with nutrients contained in dead wood formed after the procedures Care of the stand and as a result of the action of natural processes.
The scope of work will include, among others:
- cleaning of wood residues formed after stand care procedures (late positive thitter - TPP, early positive thinning - TWP), i.e. parts after removed trees, remaining on the surface of cuts, which, for quality reasons, cannot be assigned to wood utility or its acquisition is economically unjustified (the need for the use of technology ensuring protection of the fleece layer), it is referred to here about crepes, bounds, branches;
- cleaning of trees cut down as part of stand care treatments, i.e. early cleaning — CW and late cleaning — CP;
- removal of dead wood separated as a result of natural natural processes, in the range of: dead standing trees having no usable value, loungers, bushes and branches accumulated as a result of natural factors;
- export and disposal of biomass obtained as a result of the implementation of conservation activities.
2) Protective measures aimed at creating convenient conditions for the germination of open sasanka seeds, by tear the fleece layer and the organic soil layer and creating convenient habitat conditions for the object of protection (light, trophic and humidity), through countering the backlog of dead wood formed after the care of the stand and as a result of natural processes.
- Plaid disposition of soil within a radius of 5 m, in the amount of approx. 40 lobes of an area. 0,5 m 2 each — removal of mossy and covered covered in the environment of open sasanka (during flowering and fruiting years). A layer of mossy or woven fleece and an organic layer of soil should be torn off manually using hoe or spade auxiliary tools. The soil cover should be removed pointwise, by creating lobes of exposed soil a size of not more than 0.5 m2. Approx 40 lobes must be made on the working surface. Where competitive species are present within the sasanka site, i.e. blueberry, heather, soil expose shall be carried out at their place of occurrence by digging them. The soil should be loosened at the site of the expose. During the implementation of the protective action, it is impossible to allow damage to individuals of the sasanka. The treatment should be carried out at a distance of 0.5 — 5 m from the flowering individuals of the species. A 0.5 m size buffer layer is designed to maintain proper humidity conditions within individuals of a rare plant.
- Removal of dead wood within a radius of 10 m around the sasanka posts. Clean the surface around individuals of the sasanka open from dead wood shading the post and enriching the substrate with organic substances, by removing dead lying and standing trees not meeting usable value (beheading, toppling and breaking outside the area of realization treatment and other potential places of occurrence of the object of protection), manual collection of post-operational residues after caring procedures (CP, TWP, TPP) and branches accumulated on the surface due to natural factors, removal of underlining and offgrowth of species deciduous and coniferous, with the exception of juniper, consisting in their elevation and uniform distribution at a distance of at least 10 m from the place of occurrence of open sasanka (outside the treatment area and other potential places of occurrence of the object of protection).
A detailed description of the technology of performing individual works (activities) included in the subject of the contract is set out in Annex 4 to SWZ.
