Sykkylven municipality call for tenders for project management and execution of the project “New Primary school in the central areas". The new school must replace the current 3 primary schools, Ullavik school, Aure school and Vik school. All schools are situated in the central areas of Aure. The new school shall be a 3-parallel primary school with a capacity between 336 and 525 pupils. The school is currently designed to include a multi-user hall and a culture school and has a gross area of approx. 8,200 m2.

The zoning plans are subject to preparation and are expected to be completed in 2019. Archaeological registrations are executed and county reports from the county are ready. Automatic protected culture relics were not detected. Ground surveys and flood zone mapping are also executed.

The project manager must on behalf of the municipality and in close co-operation with the liaison group, carry out project management services for a new primary school via the draft project and the preliminary project. Further expansion of the assignment after an approved preliminary project, will be an option.

The implementation model and contract/agreement strategy for the project are not yet decided.

The project manager's assignments are divided in initial 3 stages:

1) Call for tenders and award contract for the engineering design group;

2) Draft project and the selection of an implementation model;

3) Preliminary project.

The project manager's tasks are to carry out all processes in the project in accordance with plans and handle deviations continuously. The project work shall be managed and organised in a good manner with clearly defined areas of responsibility, adequate HRs and good work and information routines.
