As part of an international research project, FAIR GmbH is planning the construction of the new accelerator complex “FAIR” (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) - hereinafter referred to as FAIR project - with a connection to the existing GSI accelerator facility.
The present award procedure concerns the services for drywall construction and painting work (VE_300-035).
A material price adjustment clause is agreed for the substances in accordance with Annex B180 (VHB225).
The object of the contract is the execution of drywall, metal construction, painting and floor coating work.
The metal and drywall works include the production of steel frame structures, with cladding made of fire protection panels, fire walls, assembly walls with and without fire protection requirements, sound and fire protection ceilings and the closure of manhole openings.
The execution of the floor coating work includes large-area overhaul coatings, small-area initial coatings and repair work of damaged areas.
The execution of the painting work includes large-scale overhaul coatings of walls and ceilings, small-area initial coatings and repair work of damaged surfaces from the dismantling of temporary structures.
Another component of the painting work are object-specific guidance systems consisting of floor, wall, ceiling and staircase markings, lettering, pictograms and self-adhesive films.
Also included are the dismantling of temporary fire protection walls for the construction period and collision protection made of EPDM hollow sections.
