The Asklepios Klinikum Uckermark-Schwedt intends in the course of the current refurbishment and further development of the hospital the conversion and the extension of the component AK8 on the 2nd floor to a new central emergency room.

The entrance to the emergency room will be an extension to house elevators and stairwell. In addition, the extension on the second floor is connected via a catwalk to the new helipad.

The conversion is intended mainly in the 2nd floor of the AK8. The floors below remain in use during the construction phase.
