The acquisition is the subject of anesthesia machines and workstations for the HUSmunicipality Group and the Social and Health District of South Karelia.

This is a joint acquisition, the parties to which are described in this call for tender below. The abbreviation “subscriber” is used for the parties involved in this RFQ.

The contract period is two (2) years. The contract may be extended for 1 + 1 years after the actual contract period expires. The subscriber decides on the use of the option period separately.

The object of the acquisition and its requirements are described in detail in the call for tender and its annexes.

Subdivision 1 includes basic anesthetic machines. The devices are used in short-term procedures requiring anesthesia and so-called lighter cuts.

In addition, the object of the acquisition includes equipment related consumables and equipment accessories. In addition, as an option, the provider may indicate in Annex 3 the Price Annex other compulsory requirements in its selection. The subscriber decides to exercise the options separately in connection with procurement decision making and the option equipment offered may be included as a contractual product. Equipment offered as an option may be procured in small quantities during the contract period in accordance with the needs of the units and are taken into account in the expected total value of the acquisition.

The subscriber selects four (4) suppliers to this section with whom it contracts.

Sub-area 2 includes anesthetic machines for demanding use. The devices are used for long procedures and heavier surgery.

In addition, the object of the acquisition includes equipment related consumables and equipment accessories. In addition, as an option, the provider may indicate in Annex 3 the Price Annex other compulsory requirements in its selection. The subscriber decides to exercise the options separately in connection with procurement decision making and the option equipment offered may be included as a contractual product. Equipment offered as an option may be procured in small quantities during the contract period in accordance with the needs of the units and are taken into account in the expected total value of the acquisition.

Subdivision 3 includes MRI-compliant anesthesia machines. The devices are used in a cutting room environment with solidly mounted imaging equipment and imaging procedures can be done when using an anesthesia machine.

In addition, as an option, the provider may indicate in Annex 3 the Price Annex other compulsory requirements in its selection. The subscriber decides to exercise the options separately in connection with procurement decision making and the option equipment offered may be included as a contractual product. Equipment offered as an option may be obtained in small quantities during the contracting period to meet the needs of the units and are taken into account in the expected total value of the acquisition.
